When I met Fikile, I was in awe of her flawless beauty that radiates from within, so I approached her to do a set of onsite and studio portraits.

Fikile is an actress, voiceover artist, TV presenter and scriptwriter, and she recently got the role of Zak on Isidingo, so the portraits I shot were used to help market her new character.

The onsite images were shot at Afrikan Freedom Station in Westdene, and the studio portraits were taken in my home studio. The make-up and body paint was done by the talented Angie van der Berg. Several wardrobe items were supplied by Cape Town fashion designer Julia Kimberlee, and Fikile’s friend Rea Matloga assisted with the styling and matching accessories to outfits.
