Last winter I photographed this beautiful house in Kensington that was originally a miner’s house. The homeowner extended certain areas, but kept the original wooden floors and pressed ceilings intact.

The kitchen and dining areas are open planned for cooking and socializing.

The guest room is quaint and leads onto a secret garden ideal for immersing in a good book.
