The third and final installment of the POP Art theatre portraiture collaboration with Conley van der Westhuizen, features Amor Tredoux, Conley’s mom!

Amor is an actress and singer, best known for her role as Magda in the SABC sitcom Rasdien from 2010 – 2011. In 1998 Amor was the scriptwriter for DTV (Deaf TV) on SABC, and wrote the first deaf mini-drama series in the world, Young and Speechless. From 1998 – 2009, Amor was also a scriptwriter and sub-editor for Egoil on MNET. Amor returned to acting in 2007, and performed in a supporting role in the drama series Feast of the Uninvited on MNET. In 2009 Amor appeared in Efsonders on SACB2, and Thysnywerheid on KykNET.

Special thanks to Conley van der Westhuizen who did the lighting, Charlene Warwick from Face and Grace for the beautiful hair and make-up, and Hayleigh Evans from POP Art Theatre for the location.

Amazing that Conley’s mom and I were at school together – I’d never have known if you hadn’t have done this shoot!
