FREE High-Res Card & Paper Textures

I must admit, I have a weakness when it comes to overlaying textures on photos; I simply love the weathered, yesteryear effect!

I found this set of 8 high-res paper & card textures that you can download for free, and use as you wish!

I applied a few of these textures to my photos using Photoshop, and this was the result:

I particularly like the more subtle textures, as these don’t look like obvious overlays.

Play around with different layer styles and opacity levels to suit your personal preferences. If you don’t know how to use textures in Photoshop, read my texture tutorial here.

When I saw your blog I was met with a wave of nostalgia – last year my Mom and I went to Hong Kong, and we spent a day on Hollywood Road, browsing the vintage shops, new age stores, galleries, Man Mo temple and the market close by – it was our favourite day!
